Nudity Prevention: AI Training Data

Aqua One's Nudity Prevention uses on-device AI to detect nudity in real time. No images are stored or sent to Cyber Dive. Here's how the detection process actually works.

Updated May 14, 2026

We used publicly available images and datasets to train our system to recognize male genitalia and female breasts. These datasets are widely shared within the Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence community for research and development.

To further enhance our dataset, we also gathered additional images from freely accessible online content.

Note: We never use any websites or services containing nude images of minors, including any social media accounts, to gather data.

How does the on-device detection work?

The Nudity Prevention AI model runs entirely on the Aqua One itself. When your child takes a photo or uses an app that accesses the camera, the AI scans the image locally on the device in real time. No images are transmitted to Cyber Dive's servers. Detection and decision-making happen entirely on the device.

What happens when nudity is detected?

The phone locks immediately and you receive an alert through your Parent Dashboard, by text, and by email. You can then review the alert from your dashboard and choose to unlock the phone or keep it locked while you address the situation.

Why does Cyber Dive not see the photos?

Privacy is a core principle of how we've designed Nudity Prevention. Parents receive alerts and have full control, but Cyber Dive's team has no access to the images that trigger detections.
