The Aqua One doesn't have built-in screen time limits, but you're not out of luck. You can set up school hour blocks using Google Family Link, which works seamlessly alongside your Aqua One.
How to block phone use during school hours with Google Family Link:
Download the Google Family Link app on your phone (available for iOS and Android).
Link your account to your child's Google account on the Aqua One if you haven't already.
In the Family Link app, go to Controls > Screen time > Set a schedule.
Add a "downtime" block covering your child's school hours. During this window, the Aqua One's screen will lock and your child won't be able to use most apps.
You can also designate specific apps — like a homework or reading app — to remain available during school hours if needed.
Can my child bypass the school hours block?
Google Family Link's downtime schedule is enforced at the Google account level. Your child would need your parental PIN to override it, making it much harder to bypass than a standard app restriction.
Does Aqua One monitoring continue during downtime?
Yes — monitoring runs independently of Family Link's restrictions. Even when the screen is locked, the Aqua One will still capture and sync any activity to your Parent Dashboard.
